Lead Teacher 3 - 4 Year Olds

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and experienced Lead Teacher to join our preschool team in our 3-4 -year-old classroom. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports the developmental needs of young children through hands-on, play-based learning experiences.

This is a full-time position: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities included:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities

• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development

• Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment

• Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being at all times

• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities

• Collaborate with assistant teachers and staff members

• Maintain classroom cleanliness and follow all licensing regulations

• Encourage positive behavior and model respectful interactions

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education

• Experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably 3-4 -year-olds

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Passion for early childhood education

• Ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans

• Must be able to stay outside during playground hours in all weather conditions

• Ability to go up and down stairs
