Teacher’s Assistant

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the lead teacher in implementing daily classroom activities and lesson plans

• Supervise and engage children during playtime, learning centers, and transitions

• Assist with diapering, toileting, and other daily care routines

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment

• Interact with children at their level—sitting, kneeling, and playing on the floor

• Encourage positive behavior and model appropriate social skills

• Prepare and clean up snacks, meals, and classroom materials

• Monitor children’s safety at all times, both indoors and outdoors

• Communicate effectively with teachers and staff about children’s needs and progress

• Provide a warm, nurturing, and supportive atmosphere for all children
